This weekend Megan and I where invited to an engagement party with a seventies summer theme. My memory of events at the party was real vague the next day Megan and I had our afro wigs on! Two more turned up with the afro.

Nagan Gira festival

Almost a month ago I attended the Nagan Gira festival at Mungabareena.
“Ngan Girra means “gathering” and the event celebrates the heritage of Mungabareena reserve as a meeting place and the festival proomotes Indigenous culture.

Racial riots in Sydney

Although the politicians are unwilling to associate the riots in Sydney as racist, I am not surprised. After all they are politicians!
I have written about the so called multiculturalism that Australia proclaims before. I don’t believe Australia is multicultural at all. There are groups of people from different nationality living here in their own space. [...]
