Megan and I went on a week long holiday to Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. It was a nice relaxing week. We stayed at an ordinary place which was about 2km from the beach. It was cheaper compared to ocean front accomodations.
The weather was nice and warm. I liked the beach at Coolum rather than the ones at Noosa or Maroochydore.
One of the days we went whale watching. We where picked up early in the morning and it was full day trip. By 1pm we reached Harvey Bay and left on the Tasman Venture to watch whales. I clicked a lot of pictures! My left arm was hurting even the next day from carrying the big len
On the way back the bus driver starting singing songs that everyone else except Megan and I knew. Megan and I where the youngest in the bus. The rest of them must have been all above 45.
On another day we went to the Eumundi market. There was a shop selling Momo (stuffed meat/vegetable duplings friend/steamed). When Megan cooked chinese dumplings the first time, I told her that it was called Mo Mo” in the north east of India. It seems she never believed me till she saw this Tibetan guy sell it as Momo.
Just heard on the news last night that all off Noosa is flooded
Lucky it did not happen when we where there.
